Film Street is the film education website for 6-9 year olds run by First Light Movies. The site includes resources for children to learn about film either by themselves or supported by teachers though a range of interactive activities and film clips. The site includes a detailed section for teachers and parents including resources and advice on linking its resources with the Primary Framework for Literacy.

Breaking The News

This course has been designed from a Media Studies perspective and has a holistic approach. It can be summed up by a concept map which sees all media (including the news) as involved in a circuit of meaning. The course is designed for students aged 14-19 who are studying English, Media Studies, Citizenship and related subjects.

Film Club

FILM CLUB is a chance to enter the incredible, limitless cosmos of films - a rollercoaster ride through worlds that enrich, challenge, inspire, unite and amaze us. They work with both teachers and pupils to set up after-school film clubs where a variety of films can be screened legally. They also support clubs by offering specially devised seasons and grouping films into interesting themes.
