Migrant Stories
Migrant or guest workers are rarely out of the news.
"They're taking our homes."
"They're taking our jobs."
But just who are they? And what do they think?
Media professionals from The Rural Media Company spent ten months helping seasonal and long-term guest workers, and their hosts, friends and employers, to talk about their lives in Migrant Stories .

The DVD of eighteen, documentary-style, two-minute digital shorts present students, pupils and teachers with the authentic voices of the migrant community.
Sampled by over 120 pupils at Kingstone High School's East European Day in January, and introduced by Arek and Stasia, two of the Polish contributors, Migrant Stories triggered some serious debate. |
