SHINE festival

To kickstart Find Your Talent, the government has announced the SHINE festival which will celebrate young people's talents in schools this summer.

The new youth culture trust with the DCSF, are inviting schools up and down the country to join this week long festival between 30th June and 4th July. SHINE offers an opportunity to bring together the many exciting end of year events already planned in schools in the festival week and join a national campaign to celebrate the talent in everyone.

By talent, we mean every talent. Talents that come alive in… enterprise, leadership, engineering, volunteering, caring, communications, sport, languages, design, art - everyone has their own expression of what talent could mean. We want festivals in schools up and down the country to give every young person a chance to shine.
