Screen WM Recruiting

Screen WM is the lead agency for all film, television and digital media in central England. Exciting new national developments in Education, Archive and Exhibition mean we're creating a central new department in order to advance fresh strategies and focus at a regional level.

Head of Education, Archive and Audience Development
£45k

Join us and you'll take control of this key new division, from developing staff and investing funds to delivering a successful new strategy that positions us as the regional lead facilitator with national impact. You'll roll out region-wide, nationally connected Education Hubs and Film Clubs over three years, establish and lead a high-level Education Delivery Group, and successfully deliver a highly innovative digital archive project. Having ensured strategy aligns fully with advances in digital technology, you'll champion and communicate it to stakeholders, demonstrating our ability to lead and deliver.

A dynamic leader with highly developed communication skills, your profile will evidence the ability to inspire confidence in partners, your team and the CEO. In addition, you can work at senior level and sustain beneficial high-level partnerships. Experience of working in one or more screen media sectors (film, broadcast, games, and/or new media) is essential, as is the capacity to secure funds for major projects.

Education, Archive and Audience Development Officer
£20- £25k

You'll support the Head of Department in delivering the agency's new Education, Archive and Exhibition Strategy, including the establishment of regional Education Hubs, Film Clubs, Media Literacy Strategy and an innovative digital archive initiative. In addition you'll lead the coordination of a Regional Exhibition Forum – which includes delivering meetings, collating regional exhibition and events info and supporting joint projects.

As well as having a degree or equivalent in a relevant subject, you're highly proactive with an active interest in cinema and enthusiasm to learn. Previous experience of working in a film exhibition environment, confident use of databases and an easy manner with members of the public are vital. An excellent communicator with good time-management and organisational skills, you'll also work well as part of a team.
