Co-operative Young Film-Makers calls for entries 2008

Each year the Co-operative Young Film-Makers festival shows 100 films on the big screen at the National Media Museum - all made by young people under 21 years old. The submission process for the festival is now open.

Films must be under 6 mins long and can any subject or genre. Entries are accepted on DVD only. For full entry details, rules and regulations and selection criteria, download the entry form from www.youngfilm-makers.coop (go to the 'how to enter' section).

The festival is offering special awards in 2008 for films which tackle diversity, environmental and co-operation issues. More details can be found online.

Deadline for receipt of films - Friday 27th June 2008

Festival Dates - Thursday 9th and Friday 10th October 2008

Successful films will be shown as part of the two-day festival programme; winners get the opportunity to recieve feedback and filmmaking advice on their film and attend a series of masterclasses and workshops over the two days.
