Viewfinder 2007: Digital Film Festival

Viewfinder 2007 is a digital film festival which celebrates the work of emerging filmmaking talent within Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire. The festival will screen a selection of the best short films at venues throughout the three counties providing a showcase for young filmmakers through to adults and professionals.

The final submission deadline is Thursday 1st February and the festival takes place between 19th and 31st March. The festival will be making feedback and filmmaking training schemes available to potential submitters. For further details or to get a submission film visit www.viewfinderfilm.info.

The festival invites submission of films in any of the following areas:

  • films made by a student, amateur or professional filmmaker who currently lives within the three-county area of Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire
  • films that are about the three-county area or life and activities within it
  • films that are either produced or shot within the three county area

Submission categories are:

  • ages 7-11
  • ages 11-18
  • ages 18 and over in education
  • non-professional (individual and/or collective)
  • professional and/or member of Gloucestershire Media Group
