Link of the month

The Comliteracy project by the Community Media Association uses community radio as a tool to increase understanding and awareness of media literacy issues. The Ofcom funded project worked with 15 community radio projects across the UK. Each project ran workshops for staff and volunteers focussing on an aspect of Media Literacy and then produced at least 3 Public Service Announcements and a radio programme on Media Literacy. The CMA are in talks with Ofcom about extending the project. To read more visit www.commedia.org.uk/medialiteracy
