The Media Literacy Task Group

The Media Literacy Task Group had members representing a range of stakeholders with an interest in devleloping media literacy. The group played a key role in writing the West Midlands Switching On To Media Literacy, launched in June 2007 and has also been involved in guiding the work of the MediaNet project.

The Media Literacy Task Group has now completed its role in writing and developing Switching On To Media Literacy and has been formally disbanded. However the members of the group, along with additional members where appropriate, have been invited to join a steering group for the Strategy which will oversee its implementation and future development. The new group will meet on a quarterly basis to review progress.

Copies of agendas and minutes from meetings of the Task Group are available in the downloads library.
