Switching On To Media Literacy - the launch

Switching On To Media, the launch of the West Midlands Media Literacy strategy took place on 18th June 2007. The launch gave key regional stakeholders from the West Midlands the opportunity to discuss the impact Media Literacy development could have on the region - socially, culturally and economically.

Sir Digby Jones, in his keynote address at the event said "(we need to) get media literacy deep into the DNA of the education process". He also added "It must become part of every educational, social and economic strategy in our country".
