Switching On To Media Literacy

The West Midlands is leading the way in development of a region-wide unfied approach to media literacy. Following the launch of a national Charter for Media Literacy in late 2005 the West Midlands developed a strategy of its own.

In this section of the site you can find out more about Media Literacy in the region, the work we are doing and how YOU can get involved.

Sir Digby Jones speaking at Switching On To Media Literacy

"we need to get media literacy deep into the DNA of the education process... It must become part of every educational, social and economic strategy in our country".
