Screen WM is the main funding agency for film and media in the region. Our mission is to create a thriving screen industry through support, promotion and development in the following key areas: production, development, new talent, education, exhibition, archives and skills development.
We cover six counties in the heart of England: Birmingham and The Black Country, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire.
We receive core funding through the UK Film Council, Advantage West Midlands and The Learning and Skills Council. We channel this money into funding opportunities to develop the region's screen media culture, economy and the community.
